I did buy one of these books a few years ago - Jools Oliver's first book. Actually - scrap that, i was given it by a friend (which doesn't really count, does it?) Anyway, I have to say I did quite enjoy reading it. We had similar styles of parenting, so I identified with her more than I expected to (no nanny at the time - tho a great family 'village' around her to help). She also had a hard time conceiving and I had a hard time staying pg, so I didn't just feel that she had gotten pg, popped out a baby and Bob's your Uncle.

Great post tho. And I certainly have never been tempted to read any of the other celebrity baby 'bibles'!!Nicolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07017352687163694581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6456007446606477169.post-79193039550079992892010-03-10T08:52:59.403+00:002010-03-10T08:52:59.403+00:00Hear hear. The tough part of being a Mum is the trying to balance everything! You are not the only one with old timer disgust going on. Did you read Minnie Driver's recently -her life as a mum sounds about as real as Jordan's breasts.Hot Cross Mumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17052268534992433595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6456007446606477169.post-12467116094256337592010-03-09T17:22:19.877+00:002010-03-09T17:22:19.877+00:00NVG - Not sure I could take the navel gazing invol...NVG - Not sure I could take the navel gazing involved in celeb ghost writing, mind you, never say never.

Goonerjamie - Don't count on it....Fourdownmumtogohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13514505371212340284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6456007446606477169.post-7974649645200398802010-03-09T17:19:03.770+00:002010-03-09T17:19:03.770+00:00And where are all the celebrity Dad books on fathe...And where are all the celebrity Dad books on fatherhood.
